Lydia E. (Barrier) Kennedy, 87, of Augusta, homemaker, died Wednesday, July 20, 1994, at the Sterling House in Augusta. Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in El Dorado. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.

She was born May 7, 19907 in Oilton, Okla., the daughter of D. B. and Nancy (Callison) Turner. On Dec. 31, 1953, she and W. E. Kennedy were married in Duncan, Okla. He preceded her in death. She was previously married to G. W. Barrier, who had also preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Okla.

Survivors include: step-son, W. G. Barrier of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dana Barrier, two brothers and three sisters, Kirby Morris Funeral Home has the arrangements.
