Kevin Ray Kerby was born in Sapulpa June 7, 1974 and left
this earth Monday, Oct. 31, 2005.
Kevin was a member of the First Christian Church in Sapulpa
and was baptized Aug. 25, 1985. He graduated from Sapulpa High
School in 1992. While in High School he played soccer and
basketball. Following High School he attended the Art Institute
of Dallas for one year.
Kevin had many talents, one being art, working on anything
electronic and on cars and motorcycles. He loved working on the
family farm at Stillwater and gardening. He especially liked
growing pepper plants. He loved to cook on the grill for family
and friends. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, playing
his guitar, Nascar racing and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his parents JW and Darlene Kerby, of
Sapulpa; his daughter Shadow Nigh, of Glenpool; one brother and
sister-in-law Mike and Rhea Kerby, of Sapulpa; one sister and
brother-in-law Jana and Danny Westlake, of Jenks; three nieces
Mariah Kerby, Chelsea Thomas, of Sapulpa, and Courtney Thomas,
of Edmond; an aunt and uncle; lots of cousins; and his special
friend, his dog, Rally.
He was much loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 at the First
Christian Church in Sapulpa. Interment will follow at
South
Heights Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home in Sapulpa
