King, Don
Don King, 79, of Drumright, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Funeral services are pending under Michael’s Funeral Home in Drumright.
The former Sapulpan is survived by wife Barbara of the home; son Don King Jr. of Tulsa; daughter Carol Ann King of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.

Don King, 79, of Drumright, died Friday Sept 2, 1994 in Tulsa.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church of Drumright with the Rev. John Deller officiating. Entombment followed at the
Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Sapulpa under the direction of Michael’s Funeral Home, Drumright.
King was born Aug. 18, 1915 in Jones to Lowell and Leona Ragland King.
He married Barbara Catz in Claremore on Dec. 25, 1941.
King was a 1933 graduate of Sapulpa High School. He and his wife moved to Drumright in 1954 from Sapulpa. He was the owner of Precision Manufacturing Company and Don King Sales. King served in the Air Force during W.W.II and was a member of the Blinded Veterans Association. He was a charter member of the Drumright Golf Club and the Tulsa and Drumright Elks Lodge, as well as a longtime member of the Drumright Rotary Club.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; son Don King Jr. of Tulsa; daughter Carol Ann King of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren.
