Elva Loyle Kitty Kitterman died Saturday, March 18, 1995 at Bethany Village Health Care Center.

Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Restlawn Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus directed arrangements.

She was born June 7, 1907 in Sapulpa to Walter C. and Ava Ionia Shouse Snead.

She married Leonard Francis Kitterman on May 1, 1928 at Bristow.

She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 40 years. In the early 1950s, they moved to Oklahoma City. She was a 
member of First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and Telephone Pioneers.

Survivors include a son, Alvin, Altus; a daughter, Marian Chaney, Altus; a sister, Delia Welchel, Ada; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
