Updated: 06 Sep 2009 1930-1940 Rachel Kohlman Dies at Sapulpa Sapulpa, Feb. 8 - Mrs. Rachael Kohlman, a member of the Katz department stoe chain family, died early this morning in a Sapulpa hospital. Mrs. Kohlman was the widow of Morris Kohlman an official in the Katz department store in Stillwater before his death in 1947. The family also owns stores in Ada, McAlester, Chickasha and Sapulpa. She was a native of Horse Cave, KY. Survivors include five brothers, Lester and Milton Katz, both of Sapulpa; Ben and Sidney Katz both of Ada, and Sigmund Katz, McAlester; and three sisters, Mrs. Ben Levine, Chickasha; Mrs. Saul Frisch, Stillwater and Miss Blanche Katz, Sapulpa. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday in the Owen-Landrith Funeral Home Chapel here. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Oklahoma City. [Also see Elizabeth Katz obit] |
