Krouse, Gladys Mae

Gladys Mae Krouse, 93, of Mounds, died Friday at the Ambassador Manor Nursing Home.

Services are to be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dick Knox officiating.

Burial is to follow in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Krouse was born May 24, 1900 in Thayer, Mo. and was a life long resident of Mounds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mounds and was a homemaker. During World War II she worked for Douglas Aircraft in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by daughter Helen Robison of Norman; Sisters Ruby Newcomb of Sapulpa and Maxine Lett of Goodman, Mo.; brothers Ed Harbeston of Seminole and Don Harbeston of Cordell.

The family will headquarter at 1410 S. Apple Place in Sapulpa.

Funeral Services for Gladys Mae Krouse were to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dick Knox officiating.

Burial Followed in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casketbearers were Krouse’s nephews.

Krouse, a lifelong Sapulpa Resident died Friday in Tulsa.
