Robert D. Laffitte, 69, 522 E. Lee, died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2 pm Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Gerald Rendel officiating.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Laffitte was born April 17, 1923, in Oilton and has been a Sapulpa resident since 1950. He was a self-employed barber.

He married Jacquelyn Clound on Aug 10. 1948, in San Antonio, Texas.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Sapulpa First Christian Church, Masonic Lodge #170, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Laffitte is survived by his wife, of the home, children Jack Laffitte, Tulsa, and Francis Cowen, Shawnee; brothers LeRoy Faffitte, Booker, Texas; Lawrence Laffitte, Drumright; Aline Childers, San Diego, Calif.; Louise Gibson, Perkins; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert D. Laffitte were held today at Smith Funeral Chapel with Gerald Rendel and Russell Casey officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
