Updated: 06 Sep 2009 October 24, 1988 Mr. Delton V. Lake, 82, Sapulpa, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. Graveside services are set for 10 am Wednesday at South Heights Cemetery with the Rev. Herman Ging officiating. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Feb. 28, 1906, in Garden City, Kan., and had lived in Sapulpa since 1946. Before retirement, he worked for Standard Paving Company in Tulsa. He was preceded in death by wife Opal and son Gerald. Survivors include daughters Dorothy Akin and Pauline Housley, both of Sapulpa, and Florence Sigmon of Tulsa; sons Vernon and Kenneth, both of Sapulpa; sisters Leona Kalup of Anthony, Kan., and Almeda Weaver of Boulder, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. |
