J. V. Lancaster, 74, Sapulpa, died Monday, Oct. 10, 1994 at his home.
Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.
He was born March 4, 1920 in Beggs, Okla., and has been a Sapulpa resident since 1932. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1938. He was a masseur. He was a member of the Sapulpa Banjo Band.
Survivors include his wife, Betty, of the home; an uncle, Jack Lancaster of Tulsa, and four aunts.

Services for J.V. Lancaster will be 10 a.m. Friday in the First Christian Church with Russell Casey and the Revs. James Marshall and Orville Hendrix officiating.
Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
He was self-employed as a masseur and worked out of his home for 49 years. He was a member of the Sapulpa Banjo Band. He attended Sapulpa United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; an uncle, Jack Lancaster, Tulsa; four aunts and several cousins.
Casket bearers will be Bill Marler, Tim Boyd, Brian Cleveland, Bion Callaway, Leon Blackwell, and Mick Mizo. Honorary bearers will be Guy Atchley, Raymond Copley, Leo Cornwell, Roy Baxter, Al Ring and Glen Reese.
