Sam G. Langmaid, 64, of Sapulpa, died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2 pm Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. T. Howard Allen and John Nelsen officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Langmaid was born Aug 3, 1927, in Sapulpa. He was a retired truck driver for Santa Fe Trails Truck Line. He also worked for the Tulsa Laundry Company. He married Jean Wiley in 1945 in Sapulpa. Mr. Langmaid was a Baptist and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Sapulpa Lions Club and Elks Lodge.

Survivors include wife, Jean; mother Dixie Omar of Hermiston, Ore.; brother Bill Langmaid of Sapulpa; sisters Dixie Banks of Sapulpa and Mary Neilson of Montana and Evelyn Lilly of Oregon; daughters Linda Krater of North Carolina and Betty McMasters, of Sapulpa; and four granddaughters.

Funeral services for Samuel George Langmaid were held today in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. T. Howard Allen and John Nelsen officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Serving as Casketbearers were Ben Hood, Steve Wickham, Don McMasters, Ben Speaker, LeRoy Goad and Lonnie Hendrix.

Mr. Langmaid, a Sapulpa resident most of his life passed away Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
