Lois C. Lanier, 67, of Bridge City, Tex., died Sunday in Park Place Medical Center.

Services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Dr. Orin C. Smith officiating.

Burial was to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home.

Lanier was a resident of the Port Arthur/Groves, Texas area for 38 years and of Bridge City, Texas for 15 years. She was a native of Broken Arrow, was a retired nurse and a member of the Aldersgate Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by husband Dr. Ernest Lanier of Bridge City, Texas; sons Jeff and Bob Hoffpauir of Nederland, Texas; sisters Lou McHenry of Pryor, Leta Vee Bruner of Broken Arrow, Lahoma Langston of Sapulpa and Maxine Jane Tyler of Tulsa; and five grandchildren.
