Mr. James A. Largent, 63, 2214 S. Poplar died Sunday at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Graveside services are set for 11 am Thursday at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Largent was born Aug 8, 1924, in Paden, Okla.

He married Rence Coste on Feb 22, 1947, in Paris, France.

He was employed at FABSCO as a welder, was a member of the Sapulpa First Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, served with the Oklahoma National Guard’s 145th Division and was a member of the Kellyville American Legion and the Sapulpa Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include wife Rence; daughter Frances Claudine Mouri of Overland Park, Kan.; brothers Floyd of Okmulgee and Boyd of Bristow; sisters Joan Cantrell of Okmulgee, Phyllis Ford of Elkhart, Kan., and Linda Lavendusky of Bartlesville; and three grandchildren.
