CLAUD LAUGHTER

Claud LaVerne Laughter, 55, of Belton, Texas, died Saturday at the Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Tample, Texas.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at Freewill Holiness Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. David Taylor officiating.

Burial will follow at Kellyville City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Military rites will be performed by the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the combined military service unit of Sapulpa.

Mr. laughter was born April 11, 1936, in Cisco, Ga., and married his wife Joan in Korea on Nov 14, 1962. He was a welder and retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years service.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Laughter was a Baptist.

Survivors include wife Joan; brothers Jack Laughter and Bill Laughter, both of Sapulpa, Toy Laughter of Tulsa, Virgil of Coon Rapids, Minn., Blane Laughter of Mounds and Jimmy Laughter of Pineville, La.; sisters Helen Beathe of Kellyville, Wanda Wofford of Tulsa and Janis Davis of Sapulpa.
