Updated: 06 Sep 2009 OLAS L. LAWSON Olas L. Lawson, 85, 1310 E. Cleveland, Sapulpa, died Thursday at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 am Monday, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Carner officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born March 13, 1907, in Missouri. Retired from Douglas Aircraft Company, Mr. Lawson was a Sapulpa resident since 1946, moving from Missouri. He was a member of the Baptist affiliation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma, in March 1990. Survivors include his sons, Marvin Lawson of Sapulpa and Earl Lawson of Jackson, Miss., seventeen grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. The family will headquarter at the Marvin Lawson residence, 1416 E. University.
OLAS LAWSON Funeral services for Olas L. Lawson were held this morning at 11 am in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Carner officiating. Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Serving as casket bearers were grandsons Kevin Lawson, Chris Lawson, Mike Lawson, Ed Lawson, Al Lawson and Brian Driskel. Honorary bearers were 20 great-and great-great-grandsons. Mrs. Lawson, a Sapulpa resident since 1946, died Thursday at the Ranch Terrace Nursing Home. |
