Jeff “Chubb” Lee, 69, Sapulpa, died Tuesday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

A prayer service will be 7:30 pm Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday at Little Cussetah Baptist Church with the Revs. John Fexico and Truitt Johns officiating.

Burial will be at Cussetah Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the church at 10 am Friday.

The family will be headquartered at 621 N. Ross.

He was born September 9, 1919, in Creek County and had lived here all his life.

Mr. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, member of Little Cussetah Baptist Church and was employed as a groundskeepter at Oaks Country Club for 30 years.

Survivors include wife Dorothy of the home; daughters Jeanetta Johnson and Peggy Lee, both of Sapulpa, and Jeanica Brown of Drumright; sons Benny Lee of Tulsa and Tommy Lee of Sapulpa; sisters Stella Bridges of Okmulgee and Minnie Watashe of Sapulpa; half-sister Nancy Coon of Berryhill; and four grandchildren.
