Ellen Lester, 78, of Farmington died May 28, 2001, at Fayetteville City Hospital.
She was born Nov 17, 1922, in Kiefer, Okla., to Wilson and Rhoda Hamman Frankfather. She was an employee of Campbell Soup Co., retiring after 26 years and was a member of Farmington First Baptist Church. Her husband, William Thomas
Lester, died in 1977.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Lester of Farmington and Tommy W. Lester of Fayetteville; two
daughters, Mary Duggar of Springdale and Connie Beard of Lake Havasu City,
Ariz.; one brother, Ralph Frankfather of Sapulpa, Okla.; one stepbrother, Loyd Putman of
Mounds, Okla.; two stepsisters, Helen DeGraffenried and Floy Bright, both of
Jenks, Okla.; five grandchildren;17 great-grand-children.
Graveside services will be at 10 am Friday at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
