Ratie Azalee Lewallen 98, 6566 E. 21st, Tulsa, died Thursday in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Cowan officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born in Mountain Home, Ark., to William and Nancy Warnick Burcham, and married Edgar Lewallen in November 1917, in Van Alstyne, Texas. She moved from Texas to Sapulpa in 1929, Mrs. Lewallen was a retired homemaker and a charter member of the Linden Street Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Lewallen of Tulsa, Robert Lewallen of Joplin, Mo., and Lorin Lewallen of Joshua Tree, Calif.; daughters, Joyce martin of Claremore, Shirley Holt of Tulsa, and Imogene Dunn of Carlsbad, Calif.; brother Morris Burcham of Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ratie Azalee Lewallen are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday at Owen Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Larry Cowan officiating. 

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery. 

Casketbearers will be Ronald English, Ronald Holt, Creighton Lynch, Patrick Striplin, Mark Holt, Jack Holt and J. L. Martin Jr.

Honorary bearers will be Sandra Sumner, Nancy Owen and Patty Barlow.
