Funeral services were pending Tuesday for Everett L. Lightner, 48, grocery store operator and postmaster at Glenpool. Mr. Lightner, well known in this area, died of a heart attack Sunday night. 

Mr. Lightner had been a Glenpool resident for eight years. He moved to Glenpool from Sapulpa after previously operating grocery stores at Bowden and Pickett Prairie, in Creek County. 

He was born at Tecumseh and was a member of the Kellyville Masonic Lodge. 

Survivors include the widow, Lillie; a son, Donald Ray of Glenpool; three daughters, Karen Sue, Mrs. Barbara Hamilton and Mrs. Opal Bledsoe, all of Glenpool; his mother, Mrs. Dora Lightner, Wasco, Calif.; four brothers and four sisters.
