Cecil Marvin Lockamy, 81, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, died Sunday.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Wednesday, at Johnson Funeral Home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, with Rev. William Snotherly Jr., officiating.

Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Rocky Mount.

He was born October 20, 1911, in Sampson County, North Carolina, son of the late Ransom and Katie Belle Brewer Lockamy. He was a retired crew dispatcher for Seaboard Coastline Railroad.

Survivors include his wife Louvenia Armstrong Lockamy; sons Cecil Gleen Lockamy of rocky Mount, N. C., and Frank Wayne Lockamy of Sapulpa; and one granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. They will headquarter at 1304 Oakwood Drive, in Rocky Mount.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Nash General Hospital or St. Paul United Methodist Church.
