Opal Marie Long
Funeral services for Opal Marie Long has been scheduled for 2 pm on Tuesday,
October 29, 2002 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronny Hardage
officiating.
Interment will follow in the Kellyville Cemetery.
Mrs. Long, of Kellyville, went to be with the Lord at the age of 85.
She was born on January 10, 1917 to Ed and Mollie
Romine.
She was well-loved by all her family and friends. She never had a harsh word
for anyone and will be remembered for her great compassion and her sweet spirit.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Long, her parents; three
brothers, Homer [Bud], Clyde and Joe Romine;
and two sisters Elva Parker and Orabelle Bolin.
Survivors include three sons, Charles "Sonny" and his wife, Wanda
Long, Jerry and his wife, Donna Long, and Norman and his wife Anna Long, all of
Kellyville; two daughters, Alice and her husband Gary Sellers, of Sapulpa and
Sue and her husband, Cecil Fulks of Kellyville; 17 grandchildren; 38
great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; three brothers, William,
Jack and Bob Romine; and one sister, Nora Hurst.
Casket bearers will be Mark Sellers, Eugene Long, Danny Long, Roy Fulks, Paul
Long, Jerry "Shorty" Long and Brian Long.
Headquarters will be at the family homeplace, 16902 W. 181st South.
