Ivan C. Lowe, 83, Route 5, died Thursday at Doctors’ Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Lowe was born Aug 28, 1907, in Henderson, Texas. He married Rosa Gilley Simpson Dec 13, 1978, in Creek County. He was employed in the oil fields.

Mr. Lowe was also a talented musician and member of the Oklahoma Fiddlers’ Association and the Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Survivors include wife, Rosa; sons John Lowe of Florida, Leland Lowe of Sweethome, Ore., and Jim Lowe of Washington; step-daughter Rosa Lee Wilson of Sapulpa; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will headquarter at the Buddy Wilson home, 9232 W. Oklahoma Ave., northeast of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for Ivan C. Lowe were held today at the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Caldwell officiating.

Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Casketbearers were Herb Eastham, Cleo Smith, Leo Smith, Tim Ginn and Terry McClain.

Mr. Lowe, a Sapulpa resident since 1978, died Thursday at Doctors’ Hospital in Tulsa.
