Nancy Anna Lucas, 92, of Sapulpa died Friday, Aug. 25, 1995

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Guber officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Cemetery with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lucas was born Jan. 16, 1903 in Catoosa to Charlie and Vallona Long. Her parents moved the family to Crocker, MO while she was a baby, then back to Oklahoma.

The family lived in Wagoner for a short time, then moved to Kellyville in 1912. Mrs. Lucas attended Kellyville school and had lived in the Kellyville and Sapulpa areas most of her life.

She married Clarence Ernest Lucas on Aug. 15, 1920. She was a member of North Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by a son, Floyd; two grandsons, Jim Lucas and David Lucas; a granddaughter, Jomi Lucas; five brothers, Herbert Long, Odis Long, Eldie Long, Rollie Long and Delbert Long; and three sisters, Velma Ackerman, Dorothy Smith and Nadine Hughes.

Survivors include five sons, Junior Lucas, Kennith Lucas, Thelis Lucas, Johnny Lucas and Don Lucas; one daughter, Maxine Granger; three sisters, Zeda Smith and Evelyn Boren, both of Sapulpa, and Rozine Jordan of San Jose, CA; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Billy Paul Lay, John Williams, Ed Simmons, Jeff Reed, Gary Burcham and Robert Theodore Tatro.
