OKEMAH, Okla. — Lena Jewell Luker, 84, of Okemah and formerly of Sapulpa, died
Wednesday in Sallisaw.
Services will be 2 pm Saturday at Okemah Church of Christ with Roger Thompson
officiating.
Burial will be in Bristow City
Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Okemah.
Born Sept. 6, 1904, in Creek County, Indian Territory, she was a resident of
Sapulpa for 60 years, moving to Okemah in 1968. She was a member of the Creek
County Home Demonstration Club for 16 years and Okemah Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Luker, in 1965 and her son,
Dr. Glenn Luker, in 1970.
Survivors include sons Dr. Tom Luker of Tulsa and Cleatis Luker of Okemah;
daughters Barbara Holman of Gore, Okla., and Marlene Chandler of Quapaw, Okla.;
23 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
