MOUNDS - Gilbert C. Mallonee Sr., 64, Mounds, died Thursday at Veterans Hospital, Muskogee.

Funeral services are set for 10 am Monday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Creason officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Oct 20, 1924, in Pratt, Kan. and had lived in Mounds 28 years.

Mr. Mallonee served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and was employed as a carpenter.

Survivors include sons Freddie Mallonee and Gilbert Mallonee Jr., both of Mounds and Randy Mallonee of Sapulpa; daughter Peggy Brock of Mt. Pleasant, Penn.; sisters Carol Mosher of Enid, Okla., and Mary Hefner of Pratt; and 16 grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 1215 Maxwell, Mounds.
