George C. Mangrum, 100, 125 ½ W. Cleveland, died Sunday, June 11, 1995 at Oklahoma Veterans Center, Claremore.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sam Porter officiating. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.

He was born June 8, 1895 in Cavanal. He moved to Sapulpa 35 years ago from California, where he was a rancher. He was of the Baptist faith.

He served in the U. S. Army During World War I and received the Purple Heart.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will headquarter at 129 W. Cleveland.
