Jimmie L. Maroutsos, 75, Route 2, Sapulpa, died today, Jan. 2, 1995
at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
Services are pending under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Maroutsos was born Nov. 23, 1919 in Sapulpa. He was a life-long area
resident and retired co-owner of Little Gem Cafe. He was an Army veteran
of World War II. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd,
the Sapulpa Elks Lodge, VFW, DAV and the 45th Division of the National
Guard.
Survivors include sons Jimmie and Chris, both of Sapulpa; daughter,
Tonya Maroutsos of Tulsa; brother, Andrew Maroutsos of Sapulpa; sisters,
Margaret Maroutsos, Dorothy Lightfoot and Judy Davis, all of Sapulpa,
and Sophia Letlow of Plano, TX; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jimmie L. Maroutsos have been scheduled for 2
p.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd with the
Rev. Don Lawrence officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Green Hills Mausoleum under the direction
of Smith Funeral Home.
Casket bearers will be Jerry Naifeh, Lee Harrison, Mike Perry, Troy
Richardson, John Morris and Eli Walker.
Honorary bearers will be Streeter Speakman, C. K. Wagner, Bill Taylor
and Max Fagan.
The family suggests donations be made to the Memorial Fund of the Episcopal
Church of the Good Shepherd.
