OMA MARTIN DEAD
Mrs. C. HUDSON returned last Tuesday evening from San Angeles, Texas, with the remains of her daughter, Miss Oma, who only lived a few days after their arrival there. They went to that climate as a last resort, to try to benefit the young lady's health, but the great white plague had its clutches too firmly fastened upon her young life and she passed away last Sunday.
The train arrived too late for a funeral service, but a short service was held at the grave, conducted by Eld. RILEY. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
Miss Oma was 15 years, 3 months and 7 days old, was a bright young lady and had a host of friends here. The mother has the sympathies of all our people.
They were accompanied here by a number of relatives from Sapulpa, and all returned Wednesday evening.
CARD OF THANKS
Mrs. C. HUDSON requests the News to say for her that she is very grateful for the many kind acts and tokens of sympathy extended to her by the Fairland people over the loss of her daughter, and will forever remember them for their kindness.
