Mr. Clifford Martin, 74, 24 E. Jackson Ave. South, died Saturday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 2 pm Monday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Partridge officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Martin was born Dec 3, 1913, in Sapulpa. He worked for Parker Drilling Company Inc. four years before serving in the U.S. Army in World War II.

He also worked for Texaco Oil Company for 31 years until his retirement.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, in 1976.

Survivors include sons David of Sapulpa and Russell of Ardmore; daughter Janie LeGrand of Sapulpa; sisters Margret Cantwell of Tulsa, and Muriel Small, Maxine Stroup and Martha Harbord, all of Sapulpa; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
