Mrs. Charley Maudie May, 83, Route 1 of Sapulpa, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at Rose Hill Chapel in Tulsa with Rev. Charles Buchanan officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

May was born May 31, 1909, in Stone County, Ark. She moved to Sapulpa in 1940 and was employed as a private duty nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband Charley in 1990.

She is survived by brother Ottis Gaines of Sapulpa, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Maudie May were to have been held today at 10:30 am in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Chapel, Tulsa, with the Rev. Charles Buchanan officiating.

Interment was to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
