A memorial service for John S. Mayberry, a Confederate soldier in the Civil War, is planned at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery.

The service is sponsored by the Sons of the Confederacy and Turners Monument and Bronze Memorials of Sapulpa. The cemetery is located on Route 66 between Sapulpa and Bristow.
