John Wayne McClain, 25, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Western Hills
Assembly of God. Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
He was born June 18, 1969.
He was the owner of McClain Trucking Co. He graduated
from Webster High School in 1987. He participated in
rodeo.
Survivors include his parents, John and Mary McClain;
two sisters, Monique Thresher and Kerri Hall; and his grandparents, Rev. Clarence D. and Helen McCall.

John Wayne McClain was born on June 18, 1969. He died
February 14, 1995. He was 25 years, 7 months, 28 days.
John was one who enjoyed life. He loved his family and
friends. He loved to hunt, fish, ride his horses and
rodeos where he team roped. He also loved his family
so much.
He is survived by his parents, John and Mary McClain; 2 sisters, Monique Thresher and Kerri Hall; 1 brother-in-law, Ronnie Thresher; 2 nieces, Kandice and Kammie Hall; 2 nephews, Tyler and Joshua Thresher; grandparents, Rev. Clarence D. and Helen McCall; aunts and uncles, Clarence L. and Shirley McCall, Carolyn Butler, Bobby and Georgia Shrum, Jerry and Vicki McCall, Don &Debbie McCall, Wayne McClain, Betty McClain, David and Marchetia Gibson, Phyllis McClain and a host of cousins and many friends.
A light was put out on February 14, 1995 but that
light will shine forever in our lives.

Casket bearers were Dennis Jackson, Jimmy Lonsdale,
Darin Burton, Steve Faultner, Scott Tharp, Jackie R.
Morgan and Raymond Travis. Honorary bearers were Jimmy
Crabtree, Seamus Johnson and Tim Johnson.
