Updated: 06 Sep 2009 Sapulpa Herald Mr. Linnie J. McClure, 87, 703 S. Popular, died Friday at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Westside Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Millard McGuire officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. He was born May 24, 1901, in Harrison, AR. He moved to the Sapulpa area 79 years ago from Arkansas. Mr. McClure was a retired farmer. He also retired from Liberty Glass Company in 1965 after 10 years of service. He was a member of Westside Freewill Baptist Church. He married Sadie Webb on Oct 31, 1920. Survivors include wife Sadie; sons Heairl of Tulsa and Tom of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Betty McHughes and Deloris Hale, both of Sapulpa, and Sue Simmons of Oklahoma City; brother Lonnie of Sapulpa; 16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. The family will headquarter at 703 S. Popular.
