Archie Victor McDonald, was born August 14, 1919 at Oilton, OK.

This was an oil boom town. When he was a lad ten years old his  parents moved to Michigan. He joined Manistee Lodge #228 In 1950 and transferred to Lowell Moose Lodge #182 in Muskegonin 1954. Past Master of that Lodge he is also past TIM of the Council and pat High Priest of the R A M and presently dr Warden of the Commandery. He also is past Patron of the O E S and a member of York Rite College #10.

He joined the Shrine June 8. 1968 and the clown unit of Saladan Temple, Muskegon Unit in 1969. Had many memorable experiences in connection with the clowns, mostly because he likes working with kids. Was a Boy Scout leader for many years.

He was married to Jeanne Wilder on June 28 1950 and she passed away July 4. 1984 There is one son.

Archie worked for Kaydon Corporation for almost 40 wars in several different positions. and retired Jan 1, 1982. Currently he is Vice President of the Muskegon Clowns.
