Mrs. McEuen Is Taken By Death

Funeral Plans For Early Day Resident Pending Word From Kinsmen.

Mrs. Wilson L. McEuen, aged 73, died at the home on West Cleveland at 12:30 this afternoon after an illness of several weeks.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters Mrs. Ruby Dixon and Mrs. Ann Booker, both of Sapulpa, two sisters in California, and one sister in Arkansas. A son died in infancy.

Funeral plans had not been announced this after noon until word is received from distant relatives.

Mrs. McEuen was a pioneer in Sapulpa having come here from Lamar, MO, in the fall of 1908. She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding last fall in their home on West Cleveland where they have lived many years. For the past few years ill health has caused her to remain at home where she served well and quietly in her own way. During the Christmas holidays with her family she visited the sister in Arkansas but the trip was hard on her and she declined from that date.
