James Robert McLaughlin, 56, Lakeport, CA, died May 14, 1995 at his home.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Kellyville Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 1, 1938 in Sand Springs to James and Kate McLaughlin.

He graduated from Kellyville High School and from Oklahoma State University in 1960 with a major in forestry. He served in the U. S. Army and had two tours in Vietnam. He received several medals. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1981 after serving in the reserves.

He worked for 11 years as an accountant in the Administrative Division of the County of Lake Department of Health Service in Lakeport, CA.

Survivors include a son, Michael James McLaughlin, Tempe, AZ; his mother, Kate Ralston, Kellyville; two brothers, Raymond McLaughlin, Sapulpa, and Edmond McLaughlin, Kellyville; and three sisters, Kathleen Williams and Edith Graves, both of Kellyville, and Pauline Cair, Barnsdall.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. McLaughlin, and a sister, Jerry.
