Ruth Ann McMahan, 66, of 212 S. Mike, Sapulpa, died Friday, Jan. 27 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. John Hall officiating. 

Burial is to follow in the South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. 

McMahan was born Jan. 16, 1929 in Butler, OK and had lived in Sapulpa since 1955. She retired in 1989 as a school teacher from the Kellyville School System. After retirement she continued to teach business courses at the Sapulpa VoTech. She married Bill McMahan on July 27, 1950 in Weatherford. 

She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and had been church treasurer, church clerk, pianist, in charge of Vacation Bible School, Sunday school teacher, the camp cook and had helped to form the WMU Church. 

Survivors include spouse, William Bill McMahan of the home; daughters, Patricia Smithee of Tulsa and Marilyn Lechtenberg of Ponca City; brothers, Glen Ormand Jr. of California and Lowell Ormand of Arizona; sisters, Cecil Yvonne Jackson of Pryor, and Judy Herring of South Carolina; and five grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Dwight Davidson, Mike Harris, Harvey Morris, Ron Cox, Max Callaham and Jack Taylor.
