Robert McMasters, 80, Green Valley, AZ, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 1995.
Services were Monday in Green Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joe Hawkins officiating. Burial was in Valley Presbyterian Church Columbarium, directed by Green Valley Mortuary and Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Sapulpa.
He was a former partner of Joe West Co. He was a former member and elder of Southminster Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, a 22-year member of Tulsa Scottish Rite, a 33rd degree Mason and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters. He was past president of the downtown Kiwanis Club and a member of Oaks Country Club.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia McMasters of the home; his children, Marilyn Hurley, Tulsa, and Carolyn Elder, Tulsa; two brothers, Clyde McMasters and Don McMasters, both of Sapulpa; and four grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established at First Presbyterian Church, Sapulpa.

A memorial service for Irvin Robert McMasters, 80, Green Valley, AZ, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Scottish Rite Temple on Skelly Drive in Tulsa.
He died Sept. 7 at his home.
He was born Jan. 21, 1915 in Sapulpa to Don and Edythe McMasters.
He married Mary Virginia Smith in Sapulpa in 1938.
He grew up in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1932. He graduated from Sapulpa Junior College in 1934. He received a bachelor's degree from Park College in Parkville, MO in 1936.
He worked with his father in the Don McMasters Insurance Agency before he became the first paid executive secretary of the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce in 1940. He was scoutmaster of Troop 24 at the First Presbyterian Church and was the youngest person ever to be ordained an elder in the local church.
He was a senior partner in the Joe West Insurance Agency in Tulsa for more than 35 years, and was president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater Tulsa. He was a member of the downtown Kiwanis Club and was its president. He was a 33rd degree Mason and the chair of the executive board of the Scottish Rite Bodies of Oklahoma. He was a member of the Akdar Shrine and a Jester.
