Updated: 06 Sep 2009 MEADOR, Thurby Patoka, Ill - Thurby D. Meador, 81, 6309 S 43rd W. Ave., died Wednesday at home. Services will be 11 am Saturday at Cox-Martin & Day Funeral Chapel in Patoka, Ill., with the Rev. Don Maas officiating. Burial will be at Patoka City Cemetery. He was born Jan 10, 1908, in Vernon, Ill., and had lived in the Sapulpa area approximately 14 years. He was a farmer and self employed truck driver before retirement. Survivors include son Carroll Meador of Tulsa; daughter Karen Boyd of Arizona; brothers Amos Meador and Kenneth Meador both of Illinois; sisters Anna Belle Doolen and Bernice Ross, both of Illinois; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. |
