Mrs. Mercer Dies Monday

A Kellyville resident since 1918, Mrs. Barsha Leta Mercer, 77, died at Norman Municipal Hospital Monday evening.

Mrs. Mercer was born at Seymour, MO, April 22, 1893 and before retiring 12 years ago was employed by the J. J. Newberry Co. here. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Kellyville.

Survivors are her husband, Arthur Mercer, of the home; a son Lloyd A. Mercer, Wichita, Kan; a daughter Mrs. Velma Dodson, Norman; five grandchildren; four brothers, Carl Kleier, Claremore; Jason Kleier, Missouri; Lou Kleier, Compton, CA and Herschel Kleier, Nampa, Idaho.

Funeral rites will be at 2 pm Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church, Kellyville, with the Rev. Otto L. Goins officiating. Interment will be in Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Pall bearers will be Forrest Swan, Glen McGuire, Charles Warren, Cleo Coplen, Colman Scott and Paul Mellenberger.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marion Coplen, Walter Bostick, R. W. Ragsdale and J. A. Edmiston.
