J. C. Moore Is Taken By Death
Burns Fatal To Farmer Who Was Injured
Last Week, Funeral To Be Today
James Claude Moore, age 55, farmer
living about one and one half miles northeast of Sapulpa, died
shortly before midnight Saturday, at the City Hospital from
burns suffered last Thursday when a tar composition exploded.
Funeral services were held at 2:30
o'clock this afternoon in Lewis and Landrith Chapel. Rev.
Donaldson, pastor of the local Nazarene Church, and Rev.
Simpson, of the Tulsa Church, officiated. Burial was made in
South Heights
Cemetery.
Moore is survived by his widow, Nora, one son, Carl J. Moore,
of Wanetta; five daughters, Mrs. Leda Kimmel of Cleveland; Mrs.
Mae Cappo of Detroit, Mich.; Edna, Vera and Dorothy Jean Moore
of Sapulpa; three step daughters; three sisters, Mrs. A. G.
Spaete of Inman, Kans., Mrs. Baylor Culpepper, of Shreveport,
La., and Mrs. L. F. Long of Texhoma.
