VENTURA, Calif. - Bill J. Parham, 67, of Ventura, died Nov. 27 at Salt & Sea Resort in northern California.

Local memorial services are pending with Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Parham grew up and went to school in Sapulpa before moving to California. He served as a Lieutenant Commander in the merchant marines under the control of the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He retired from Hydrill Company for whom he traveled much of the world. He was a former president of the Petroleum Association in southern California.

Survivors include wife Jean; daughter Susan Parham of Los Angeles; brother Home Parham of San Bernardino, Calif.; and sisters Betty Webster of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Castleman of Borger, Texas.

Former Sapulpan Bill J. Parham, 67, of Ventura, Calif., died Tuesday at Salt & Sea Resort in northern California.

Services will be 10 am Wednesday at Green Hills Memorial Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Parham was raised in Sapulpa, where he attended school, and later moved to California.

He was a former president of the Petroleum Association in southern California, retired from the Hydrill Company, and served as a Lt. Commander in the Merchant Marines. He also was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Parham.

Survivors include his wife Jean; daughter Susan Parham of Los Angeles; brother Home Parham of San Bernadino, Calif.; and sisters Betty Webster of Oklahoma City and Dorothy Castleman of Borger, Texas.
