HEMET, Calif. – Lester (Pat) Marion Patton, 61, Hemet, Calif, died Wednesday at Hemet Memorial Hospital of a massive heart attack.

Services are scheduled for 10 am Thursday at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. Military rites will be performed by the Sapulpa Veterans Organizations.

He was born Jan 19, 1928, in Cushing and was raised in Sapulpa and graduated from Sapulpa High School.

Mr. Patton served in the U.S. Army and retired from Douglas Air Craft in California in 1986, after 30 years of service.

Survivors include wife Alma of the home; son Paul Thomas of Hemet; brother Ira of Sapulpa; one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home, but the casket will be opened at the service.
