Lexie V. Pettit, 93, Sapulpa, died Sunday at Ranch Terrace Nursing Home.

She was born March 25, 1896, in Harrison, Ark, and moved to Sapulpa in the early 1920’s.

Mrs. was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church, Sunday school teacher and T.E.L. Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and one daughter.

Survivors include brother Lee Toney of Sapulpa; sister Dorothy Jo Riser of Tulsa; grandchildren, David Pettit of Sapulpa and Gail Wright of Prague, Okla.; and four great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Lexie Pettit were today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.

Burial was at South Heights Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Walter Morrow, Olie Brown, John Stierwalt, Preston Stamps, Melvin Schultz and Lester Upshaw.
