Raleigh P. Peyton, 84, father of Raleigh Peyton Jr. of Sapulpa, died Sunday at Claremore Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday at Central Christian Church, Claremore.

Mr. Peyton was born Dec 20, 1906 in Missouri.

In addition to his son in Sapulpa, survivors include his wife Grace of the home; son Ken Peyton of Tulsa and daughter Ruth Ann Archer of Gretna, La; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

CLAREMORE - Releigh Peyton, 84, of Claremore, died Sunday in Claremore.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, 10 am at the Central Christian Church in Claremore under the direction of Claremore Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Conway officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Pryor.

Mr. Peyton worked in the oil fields for thirty years and was a member of the Central Christian Church.

His survivors include wife Grace Ann Peyton of the home; sons Raleigh Frances Peyton of Sapulpa and Kenneth Dale Peyton of Tulsa; daughter Ruth Ann Archer of Grettna, La.; six great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
