Services for Theodore (Ted) R. Phelps were today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Caldwell officiating.

Burial was at South Heights Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Hugh Allen, Jerry Thomas, Dean Williams, Roy Lee Wallen, Wade Stringer and Rick Allen.

Mr. Phelps, a resident of Sapulpa for the past 19 years, died Tuesday at his home.

Theodore R. (Ted) Phelps, 60, 26 N. Poplar, died Tuesday at his home.

Services will be 10 am Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Caldwell officiating.

Burial will be at South Heights Cemetery.

He was born Aug 15, 1929, in Edenton, N.C. and attended school in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Mr. Phelps served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a member of the Full Gospel Baptist Church, Sapulpa Elks Lodge and the American Legion in Sand Springs.

He moved to Sapulpa 19 years ago and had retired from the steel construction business.

Survivors include wife Wilma; daughter Cathy Pathick of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; sisters Doris Waltos of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Peggy Downs of Clovis, Calif.; brother James E. Phelps of Reno, Nev.; and one granddaughter.
