Funeral services were held at 3:30 pm today for Charles Potter, 75 year-old
inventor and former music store operator who died Tuesday after a brief illness.
Immediate survivors are his brother, O. T. Potter, 420 S. Hickory, and two
nieces, Mrs. James Updike, 129 W. Bryan, and Mrs. Richard Fenten, Floresville,
Tex.
Rev. Roy C. Smith presided at the services and burial was in the Sapulpa
Cemetery under the direction of the Owen-Landrith funeral home.
Pallbearers were Eugene Smith, Waldo Huycke, C. D. Klingensmith, Brooke Thrift,
Dr. J. W. Frederick and R. M. McMahn.
Honorary pallbearers were Lester Katz, Guy L. Berry, Sr., Earle Hermes, Edward
L. Ferguson, Art Johnson, A. A. Moulder, Charles Hamilton, E. L. Avra, H. C.
Smeltzer, Dr. A. C. Frampton and E. B. Matthews.
