Mr. Leroy Purcell, 62, 306 S. Water, died Thursday at Claremore Indian Hospital.
Services will be 3 pm Saturday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Veterans of
Foreign Wars chaplain officiating.
Burial will be at Drumright Cemetery.
Mr. Purcell was born April 8, 1925, in Red Fork. He moved to Sapulpa seven years
ago from Tulsa.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a Baptist and was employed by Tulsa
Sand Blasting Company.
Survivors include wife Eleanor; daughters Donna McCarthey of Tennessee and Angie
of Sapulpa; stepson Ronnie Robinson of Mannford; brothers Harry of Key Largo,
Fla., Earl of Stillwater and Don Taylor of Louisiana; sisters Hazel Macefield of
Stillwater, Evelyn Philpott of Allen, Texas, Jeraldine Scott of Lake Charles,
La., and Betty Goddard of Texas; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mr. Leroy Purcell, 306 S. Water, were held Saturday at
Smith Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Purcell died Thursday at Claremore Indian Hospital.
