Leonard H. Rackley, 66, 1940, S. Scott, died Saturday at the Veteran's Administration hospital in Claremore.

Services will be 1 pm Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. James Spears and E. H. Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Mr. Rackley was born Oct 9, 1924, near Meeker, and lived in Sapulpa for the past 39 years after moving here from Okmulgee. He served in the U.S. Army and was a prisoner of war during World War II.

He married Ruth Thompson Oct 28, 1945, in Sapulpa. He was a former Sapulpa City Clerk and retired tax accountant. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.

Survivors include wife, Ruth; son Tony Rackley of Tulsa; daughter Vicki White of Sapulpa; brother Dennis Rackley of Chandler; sisters Neva Webb of Chandler and Jean Murray of Tulsa; and five grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 2721 Raintree Circle the day of the service.

Funeral services were held today for Leonard Harold Rackley at the Nazarene Church of Sapulpa with the Revs. Jerry Demetery, James Spears and E.H. Sanders officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Leo Smith, Cleo Smith, Bud Armitage, Francis Matzinger, Chuck LeGrande and Roy Wresche.
