Wrethia Irene Ramsey went home to be with the Lord Thursday,
Sept. 30, 2004. She was born Feb. 9, 1920 to Earl and Liddie
(O'Neal) Cagle in Sallisaw.
Survivors are her son Michael Ramsey and
wife Sharon, of Sand Springs; two daughters Zelma Hindman and
husband Dick, of Sapulpa, and Janice Watkins and husband John,
of Sallisaw; five grand-children and seven great-grand-children:
two sisters Mildred Shelton, of Temple, Texas, and Vera
Brinsfield, of Russellville, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband
Michael Ramsey; grandson Ryan Ramsey; sisters Inez Richardson
and Mary Stane; and brothers Ernet and J.D. Cagle. She graduated
Sallisaw High School and had perfect attendance for all 12 years
She later worked as a floral designer for Sand Springs
Greenhouse & Four Seasons Gardens. She was also the coordinator
for the Sand Springs Senior Citizens Center floral fundraiser
and helped raise the funds to purchase their first bus.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 4, 2004 at Green Hill Mausoleum in Sapulpa with the
Rev. Earl Ruckman officiating. Interment will follow at
Green Hill Cemetery
under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
