Nancy M. Rector, 79, 119 W. Bryan, Sapulpa, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Russell Casey officiating.

She will lie in state until 9:30 am Friday and the casket will not be opened at the service.

Rector was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Oklahoma and had lived in Sapulpa since 1940. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Rose Garden Clubs, Unit of Sapulpa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rector, on June 1, 1975.

Survivors include her daughters, Janet Horton of Prattville and Sue Montgomery of Sapulpa; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 119 W. Bryan.

Burial followed at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Jeremy Montgomery, Joe Bob Montgomery, Jim Horton, Scott Plunkett, George Horton and Allen Ward.
